As an instructional designer, my goal is to create e-learning materials that are:
- effective for instructors, making planning, preparing and presenting a breeze;
- engaging for learners, making lessons content-rich, interactive and fun;
- and easy to use, making content simply and universally accessible.
That’s why I seek to accommodate a diversity of presentation and learning styles rather than follow a particular cognitive theory. I prefer e-learning platforms with simple, user-friendly options over ones with complex, trendy features. And I produce materials using widely-available, cost-effective digital tools with little to no training curve for all users.
So whether you want to bring an entire program online or just update a few slides, I’m looking forward to making your project productive for everyone. Those are my values; let’s talk about ways to create an educational experience that best reflects yours.
